Being With Baby Parent-Infant Classes

You and your very young infant (born Nov 2020 - Jan 2021) are warmly welcome to join Being With Baby Parent-Infant classes.

Inspired by Magda Gerber’s Educaring® Approach, our parent-infant classes offer parents a safe, supportive and serene environment to be confident in your role as your infant’s secure base. In a space set up to support independent and authentic play, your baby will be offered an unhurried environment to simply ‘be’.

Facilitated in small groups with parents and babies coming together weekly in a relaxing, environment, you can sit back and take pleasure in observing your child as they freely explore, move at their own pace, and lead their own development. This is a time for you to find ease and peace in parenting alongside other likeminded parents.

Term 1: 13 April - 1 June (8 weekly sessions)

Cost: $400 (includes 8 weekly sessions, and 1 Orientation Evening session)

Orientation Evening

This orientation is for participants of the parent-infant class to learn more about the flow of the classes. You will also be introduced to the respectful caregiving approach that inspires our classes. As there will be interactive exercises to support learning, this is an adult-only session. You are encouraged to arrange for child-minding support, but if you need to bring your baby along, please drop Li Ling a note at liling@chapterzero.org .

Facilitator

Li Ling is a mother of two girls and Director of Chapter Zero. She completed RIE® Foundations in 2017 and is a RIE® Practicum™ student. She is also a certified facilitator for Circle of Security Parenting™ and Self-Reg®. She receives joy from sharing authentically with other parents and supporting families in growing peaceful partnerships.
