RESOURCES

The "Our Feelings" series is a bilingual English-Malay 3-book set for preschoolers aged 4-6, focusing on understanding emotions and needs. The books aim to enhance children's communication skills by teaching them the vocabulary to express feelings in both languages. The first three books cover Hunger, Anger, and Anxiousness, following Khai, a zookeeper's son, who imagines each feeling as a relatable animal. The stories are engaging on their own, but parents can also use the included guides to teach social-emotional awareness. The animals featured are familiar to children in Singapore, making the abstract concept of emotions more concrete.
