We know systemic racism is very real in Singapore. We feel that it's important that we start conversations with our children However, there is a lack of ready resources and safe spaces for us to talk about race in Singapore, as race remains by and large a taboo topic. I’ll be applying the principles of respectful parenting throughout the webinar because talking about sensitive topics like Race can be tricky for parents to navigate.

In this Webinar you will learn about:

- When is it appropriate to start talking to your children about race?

- Why it is important to talk to your children about race.

- Ways in which we can support our children with learning about race.

This is a one hour Webinar that will include some time for questions and answers at the end.

About your Faciliator

Stephanie Chalmers is a mother of two young children. She has always worked in the education as she strongly believes that education is the key to a better future for all. A trained High School and English as Foreign Language Teacher she has always been in the position of facilitating learning and it was no different when her children arrived.
