The Mindful Nanny: Toddler (1.5 - 3 years)

Caring for toddlers is an extremely important and challenging job. All children deserve to be cared for with respect, right from the day they are born. This course is for in-home caregivers (nannies, domestic helpers or grandparents), of children between 18 months to 3 years old.

Part 1 : Sat, 4 November

Part 2:  Sat, 11 November

Time: 10am to 1pm 

Venue : Bukit Gombak Estate (actual venue location will be furnished after registration)

In this 2-part workshop, participants come away with knowledge and skills to care for young children confidently. Caregivers are also shown how to promote a child's development holistically, including providing quality interaction and play. 

Through experiential exercises, role plays and discussions, participants will explore: 

• Gentle discipline, including regulating a child's big feelings and setting boundaries 

• The role of an adult in child-led play

​• Supporting children during conflicts 

• Creating a physical environment which supports collaboration and independence

• Nurturing Growth versus Fixed mindsets
