About

The Trauma-Conscious Mama

A transformational workshop for mothers who are commmitted to intergenerational healing.

We will explore how to navigate motherhood with awarness, empathy and healing.

In this special three-hour in-person session, highly sought after therapist and educator, Natalia Rachel, will guide us to meet with the maternal intention of understanding our own trauma wounding and how to begin the epic journey of containment and transformation so that we do not pass it on to our children.

Come prepared to lean into the collective unconscious, meet your heart with a new kind of compasssion and set intention for deep healing and intergenerational liberation.

The session will include conceptual sharing, group discussion, somatic inquiry / meditation and intention setting. This is the kind of healing work that echoes through the cells of our babies and grandbabies.

Some of the areas we will explore include:

  • Maternal Trauma
  • Paternal Trauma
  • Power dynamics, shadows and diving rage
  • Conscious parenting
  • Unconditionality vs conditionality
  • Conscious partnership and evolutionary family systems

About Natalia Rachel

Natalia Rachel is a voice and visionary in the realms of trauma-informed culture, relationships and intergenerational repatterning. Her work taps into the collective unconscious and calls us towards the deep work of liberation and reorganisation. Her book "Why Am I Like This?" distills 40 years of lived personal and professional experience.

Natalia has spent years working as a therapist and clinic director with a focus on trauma & abuse recovery. Her work is also informed by her own personal journey of recovering from mental health misdiagnosis and physical health conditions that stemmed from childhood trauma, as well as her journey of conscious divorce & co-parenting and learning to redefine relationships and love. Natalia's career has traversed Asia, USA, Europe and Australia.

During her time here in Singapore, she was the former director of Soma Clinic, a highly regarded integrated health clinic, and later founded Illuma Health, to expand her focus to include a proactive approach to mental and relational health that stems in a) education and b) creating systems that empower more people to access support. She also explored and found value in making educational content (video and audio) that could be accessed by mass audiences either at a low cost or completely free. This addresses the big issue, that many people around the world, cannot afford or access mental healthcare.

Ultimately, Natalia’s vision is to raise awareness of the question ‘why am I like this?’ and illuminate pathways to change. Follow Natalia on Instagram for free resources on learning about trauma and healing.

In 2023, Natalia returned to Australia with her two children. Chapter Zero is delighted to partner her and organise this special workshop during her limited time visiting Singapore this October. We also look forward to partnering with and supporting all mothers who will be kickstarting or deepening their journey as a trauma conscious mama.

We will be opening up the workshop for up to a maximum of 20 participants and intend to have a cosy, intimate and private set up for a safe and brave space.
